Martin is a Senior Enterprise Strategist working for Microsoft Corporation. He covers enterprise systems management with a focus on the journey from a well managed datacenter to the private and hybrid cloud.
Martin has over fifteen years of direct experience with desktop, server and datacenter management – from consulting, product lifecycle management, evangelism, partner ecosystem creation to winning in competitive opportunities. His experience started with enterprise deployments of Windows NT 3.51 and Novell NetWare through to today working with global customers on their latest datacenter and private cloud strategies.
Prior to joining Microsoft Martin was the Global Evangelist and Director of Product Management for Novell – an enterprise systems management vendor.
He holds the ITIL v3 Expert Certification and the ITIL v2 Managers Certificate.
Martin runs his own IT infrastructure; writes dreadful code and blogs avidly.
Originally from the UK, he currently lives just outside Seattle.
