At Novell BrainShare we showed World of Warcraft running on Linux – it was one of the highlights of the relaxation zone!
This is from TransGaming Technologies – I’ll need to look into this some more.

When I saw Novell had a few WOW machines running I was hoping it was using Linux/Cedega
I’ve been playing WOW on it for about 4 months and it seems to run faster under Linux than Windows. I’m not sure if that down to the huge amount of anti malware you have to run on Windows or not.
I also have Warcraft 2 & 3, Diablo2 and Starcraft running under Cedega, Quake3, Quake4, and Doom3 all using the Native client.
More work needs to be done to get more games working I’ll agree but gaming under Linux is here.
I was hoping that WOW etc were running on Linux/Cedega at Brainshare. Not being lucky enough to go.
It seems to run faster on my pc under Linux than under Windows. That might be due to the huge amount of anti-malware but still.
